Overview

Pageloom ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. This policy applies to users of our products and services when we control the hosting and data processing.

Many of our products are designed for self-hosting. When a third party (such as your employer or an organization you collaborate with) hosts our software on their own infrastructure, they control the data processing. In those cases, their privacy policies apply.

Data We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address
• Name
• Password (stored securely hashed, never in plain text)

We do not collect any other personal information by default. However, users can voluntarily provide additional profile data such as job title, phone number, profile photo, or department. Personally identifiable data may also enter our systems when people write information into free-text fields, or through integrations with external services such as identity providers that automatically pass along user attributes.

We design our systems to give users control over their data. Our systems support anonymization of user records upon request or when configured to do so.

Usage Data

We automatically collect:

• Login timestamps
• Pages visited within the application
• Actions performed (for audit logging)
• Time zone setting
• IP address
• Language setting

Cookies

We use essential cookies only:

• Session cookie: Keeps you logged in
• Email verification cookie: Temporary cookie during email verification

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
